Practical Penetration Testing with the Montimage MMT-Pentester Toolbox is an intermediate course of about twenty hours that walks you through a complete engagement, from first principles to a finished report. You’ll begin with the ethics, authorisation, and scoping rules that make testing lawful, then learn the methodologies that structure professional work — PTES, the Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK — before getting hands-on in the MMT-Pentester platform. Across five modules and a capstone you’ll perform reconnaissance with Nmap, map a target’s attack surface, run controlled attack scenarios such as an SSH brute-force and an HTTP denial-of-service, monitor and interpret the results, and produce clear, prioritised remediation reports. Every exercise runs only against provided, isolated lab targets, and the course closes with an AI-assisted look at autonomous agents and tool integration, plus a graded end-to-end assessment. It suits IT and cybersecurity students, junior SOC analysts, and system and network administrators who want practical penetration-testing skills grounded in a real toolset.
